Tucked in a narrow street filled with artisans and craftspeople lies the studio of Tabrat Art, the organization of Youssef, Fatima and Abdulilah, three young artists specialized in instructional design, woodcarving and miniature art. We instantly became friends.
Fatima showed me how to play the Tamazight language game they developed. In return, I offered to give a lino workshop. We carved and carved until we had all the letters of Morocco’s indigenous language. The idea of Fatima and Youssef is to organise workshops where children can print their favourite words in Tamazight.
